Job Description
The Intern Maintenance Tech position is an entry-level role that performs routine maintenance work, including plant and landscape maintenance, equipment repair, and assisting with roadway repair. The position is located in the Lamar County Maintenance in Paris, Texas. The internship is a great opportunity to explore what TxDOT has to offer, expand your knowledge acquired from school, and possibly serve as a gateway to future job opportunities with the agency.
Requirements
- Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution.
- Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license for driving duties and using power tools.
