Job Description
TxDOT is looking for a Maintenance Section Assistant in the Paris District to oversee work completed by crews and contractors, providing a safe driving thoroughfare within a designated geographical area. The position requires assisting with budget preparation, overseeing section and contracted crews, and responding to emergency notifications. Employees perform work independently but refer unusual issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent in general education
- 6 years of experience in roadway maintenance or construction related work
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Driver Certificate
- Commercial Driver's License
