Job Description
TxDOT’s Odessa District is looking for a Transportation Engineer Supervisor to work in our Transportation Planning & Development department as the Advanced Planning Engineer. This position offers an excellent and challenging opportunity to manage and oversee the district’s planning program. As the Advanced Planning Engineer, you will lead environmental, utility and engineering staff to deliver short- and long-term projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science bachelor's or higher degree accepted by TX PELS
- 4 years experience in transportation engineering.
- Valid driver’s license
- Licensed Prof Engineer
- Open Water Diver certification (if performing underwater bridge inspections)
- Comprehensive training course based on the Bridge Inspector's Training Manual or NICET Level III or IV certification in Bridge Safety Inspection (if performing bridge inspections)
