Maintenance Technician (Injection Molding)

This role involves maintaining satisfactory equipment uptime and utilization for injection molding machines. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance programs, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, budget management, and operating support. They will also maintain facility maintenance and safety standards.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in maintenance of industrial equipment including injection molding machines
• Experience with industrial mechanical repair including hydraulics repair, motors, pumps, etc.
• Knowledge/Skills and Abilities
• A positive can-do attitude
• Self-motivated
• Good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to make timely, fact-based decisions
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical control systems and hydraulic systems
• Understanding of logic controls
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to oversee and drive improvement projects
• Performance Metrics (machine down time, documentation)
