Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, identify and obtain required prior authorizations, and communicate with patients and staff.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of healthcare insurance verification or revenue cycle experience
- Prior authorization and medical necessity guidelines experience
- High-volume verification workloads experience
- Familiarity with hospital or physician billing workflows
