Job Description
The Patient Access Representative ensures the accuracy and completeness of patient registrations by gathering complete and timely information, collaborating with ancillary departments, and serving as a resource for patients regarding financial matters.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in hospitality/customer service
- Experience in a healthcare setting or with patient-facing roles is highly desirable
- Experience with EHR systems and clinical reception or medical administrative roles preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and general computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain effective in high-pressure situations
