Job Description
A small business seeks a motivated and detail-oriented scientist to join their team in a chemistry/materials laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a lab environment and be able to adapt to diverse projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or Masters degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a chemistry laboratory environment is required
- Experience in a Research and Development environment with chemical formulation a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot, and develop practical solutions
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective technical communication skills, interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills, and technical writing skills
- Proficient in MS Windows, Office Products, and familiarity with Apple OS
