TSTC is seeking an Avionics Technology Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and facilitate learning in an applied learning environment. The instructor will prepare and deliver instruction, develop course syllabi, and ensure opportunities for student evaluation. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience in aircraft avionics, teaching experience, and knowledge of FAA regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Be able to coordinate and collaborate with faculty to update and deliver in-person and online training material for labs and lectures that meet FAA regulatory requirements.
- 4 years aircraft avionics experience
- Be knowledgeable in and teach basic, digital, RF, data buss, and wiring electronic fundamentals
- Be able to execute and teach fault isolation for data bus systems, rf cabling and wiring
- Be able to execute and teach fault isolation on aircraft using appropriate ground test equipment, and alignment and/or certification of avionics systems to FAA standards
- Be able to execute and teach bench testing, alignment and trouble diagnosis of avionic components and subcomponents
