Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor - Part Time

We're seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor to join our team at the Brownwood Campus. The ideal candidate will have a current LVN or RN license in Texas, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and the ability to deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction that meets Texas Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) requirements.

Requirements

• Current LVN or RN license in the State of Texas, in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience within the last 3 years, with direct patient care in a long-term care facility, hospital, clinic, or similar setting.
• Must meet Texas Health & Human Services (HHSC) requirements to teach Nurse Aide Training.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience teaching, training, or supervising CNAs, nurse aides, or patient care technicians.
• Strong understanding of infection control, documentation, patient safety, and state testing requirements.
