Contract Specialist (Austin)

Texas Workforce Commission connects people with careers across the state. The Contract Specialist II performs complex contract management work, including processing agency contracts and amendments, and reviewing scopes of work.

Requirements

• Two years of full-time experience in contract development, management, evaluation, monitoring, or training of contract providers or customers
• Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
• Certification as a Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) or Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) within one year of employment
• Experience in technical writing, procurement processes, and contract development
• Experience in facilitation, customer service, and data analysis
• Strong communication and organization skills with attention to detail
• Establish and maintain cooperative and constructive work relationships
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Teams
