The role involves overseeing programming projects, analyzing proposed applications, and designing software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems or related field
- Two years of experience as a developer or six years of experience as a developer
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design
- Recent experience with Java, Web Development, JSP/HTML/CSS/JQuery/Bootstrap, Angular, Spring Suite, SQL, JPA and ORM technologies, AWS Cloud technologies, Docker, Batch Processing, Accessible web Applications, Micro-focus Octane
- Ability to accurately test software applications, effectively communicate, solve problems, schedule, test, install, and implement programs, and troubleshoot computer software systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to serve as a technical consultant to peers, clearly and accurately document relevant issues, and prepare accurate, concise, reliable reports
