The Solutions Analyst will perform complex computer systems analysis work, planning and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve Applications Solutions (AS) systems. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a customer-focused attitude, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Experience as a systems analyst or a bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or analytical field and three years of experience as a systems analyst.
- Experience conducting fit/gap sessions, performing system configuration, conducting testing including UAT and developing training documentation.
- Experience and skill preparing requirements documentation such as: business requirements in shell statement format, requirements traceability matrix to verify all requirements are included in design documents created by developers, write test cases and/or review test cases created by testers, quality assurance staff, and/or end users
- Skills in developing creative and workable solutions to complex problems.
- Knowledge of SDLC (waterfall, hybrid, a blend of waterfall and agile) principles and practices.
- Ability to document business requirements in a shell format is a higher priority that writing use cases.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks
- Skill planning and organizing work to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in system analysis, structured query language (SQL), problem solving and design work.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Experience with SharePoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with team members, customers, and management.
- Knowledge about state and federal requirements governing the missions and business processes and application solutions used by the following TWC programs: Child Care and Early Learning (CCEL), Unemployment Insurance, Vocational Rehabilitation, and/or Workforce Development.
- Experience in Public Sector service delivery.
