Requirements
- A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
- Use of arithmetic, blueprints and specification plus knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles is required
- Either an Airframe or Powerplant Mechanic license is helpful
- A minimum 3 years experience performing inspections, repairs, structural modification, or composite modification of aircraft is required
