Compliance Engineer

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a Compliance Engineer to research and determine applicable standards and regulations for TSV products, partner with cross-functional teams, and maintain compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Research and determine applicable standards and regulations for TSV products based on regions and markets where products are sold.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Legal, and Technical Publications to ensure products meet safety, emissions, chemical, EMC, and other regulatory and legal requirements.
• Attend and contribute to design reviews; research, evaluate, and recommend design modifications to address compliance requirements.
• Compile, maintain, and manage compliance documentation in accordance with established documentation and record retention processes.
• Work with industry associations to maintain, develop, and influence standards related to TSV products.
• Analyze, review, and present compliance and test data using graphs, spreadsheets, statistics, and data analysis software.
• Submit applications and documentation to regulatory bodies and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain approvals required to build and ship products in alignment with production schedules.
• Effectively communicate the status of compliance activities, regulatory submissions, and approvals to product teams and other stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing information, test data, prototype models, and product plans.
