We are seeking a Communications Advisor to join our Global Strategic Communications team, supporting public relations efforts in Canada. The role involves creating, editing, and distributing compelling written and multimedia content for internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, internal communications, external communications, public relations, or a combination of these fields
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and channels in French and in English
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
- Understanding of industry practices and standards in communications
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with executives, internal partners, external agencies, and key media contacts
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in media relations across Canada is an asset
- Ability to travel up to 5% as needed
