Design Engineer Graduate

We are looking for a Design Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality mechanical design work across a range of projects. The successful candidate will produce mechanical designs, create and maintain accurate engineering documentation, and apply best-practice design principles.

Requirements

• Produce mechanical designs that meet defined technical, performance, reliability, and cost requirements;
• Create and maintain accurate engineering documentation;
• Apply best-practice design principles and utilise in-house standards, approved reference materials, and standard components wherever appropriate;
• Ensure all designs are practical, efficient, and cost-effective to manufacture;
• Perform component-level CAE/FEA analyses to support design decisions;
• Collaborate with other Engineers and internal departments;
• Interpret and incorporate relevant industry standards, directives, and regulatory requirements;
• Support the engineering team in ensuring all documentation and designs comply with applicable quality and safety expectations;
• Assist in the development of test plans and validation activities;
• Support testing activities as required
