Quality Inspector

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of materials, goods in process, and finished goods. The role involves applying established inspection procedures and using simple inspection/testing tools and instruments.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years related experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality assurance processes and/or procedures
• Knowledge of military and commercial quality specifications
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control
• Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry
• Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical inspection
• Knowledge of workmanship standards
• Knowledge of packaging and preservation requirements
• Understanding of Total Quality principles and concepts
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to use electrical and mechanical inspection equipment
• Ability to develop and/or use simple to complex inspection set-ups
• Basic algebraic skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret detailed specifications, drawings, procedures, and schematics
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
