We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of materials, goods in process, and finished goods. The role involves applying established inspection procedures and using simple inspection/testing tools and instruments.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years related experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing and quality assurance processes and/or procedures
- Knowledge of military and commercial quality specifications
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry
- Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical inspection
- Knowledge of workmanship standards
- Knowledge of packaging and preservation requirements
- Understanding of Total Quality principles and concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to use electrical and mechanical inspection equipment
- Ability to develop and/or use simple to complex inspection set-ups
- Basic algebraic skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret detailed specifications, drawings, procedures, and schematics
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
