Job Description
Quality Inspector responsible for performing checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of materials, goods in process, and finished goods to assure quality first by determining compliance to drawings, procedures, and specifications.
Requirements
- Perform audits, tests, and inspections of materials, goods in process, or finished goods within the value stream (receiving through final system assembly)
- Apply established inspection procedures and use simple inspection/testing tools and instruments of a 'go/no go' nature
- Develop and/or use test and inspection set-ups utilizing mechanical and/or electrical test measurement equipment
- Identify and document nonconforming material in accordance with applicable procedures
- Assist and train others in assuring the proper test, measurement, and procedural operations
