Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Supervisor manages a team of Manufacturing Engineers who will be focused on developing tooling, resolving and preventing issues in production, and incorporating design changes. The role requires a passion for innovation, standardization, and quality accompanied by exceptional communication skills, power to positively influence and develop others, and be a result-oriented leader.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 4 plus years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, engineering or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of electronic and mechanical engineering
- Skilled in manufacturing processes methods and best practices
- Strong knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement techniques
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems is recommended
- Experience in shop practices in product planning, and with military specifications for systems, products and materials
