Job Description
Teya is a payment and software service provider looking for a Backend Engineer to join their mission in building easy-to-use, integrated tools for small and medium-sized businesses across Europe. The role involves building and improving technology that empowers businesses and contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of core components of their systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Golang, Java, Kotlin or.NET
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with databases (relational and/or non-relational)
- Understanding of version control (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English
