Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

The Certified Medical Assistant provides professional clinical care for patients following established standards and practices. Assist patients before, during and after the visit with compassion and empathy.

Requirements

• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
• Prepare, restock and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and all other patient care areas per established policies and procedures
• Accompany patients to examination or treatment room, measure and record vital signs, review patient’s medical history, update information and changes in medical history as needed, and prepare them for examination or treatment
