Backend Python Engineer

Unbabel is seeking a motivated Backend Python Engineer to join our team, as we expand our ability to deliver seamless, scalable cross-platform translation capabilities to our enterprise partners.

Requirements

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience
• Experience building APIs or system integrations (REST and/or gRPC)
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MongoDB)
• Proven ability to write clean, well-tested code; competence in test automation; familiarity with secure and maintainable architecture
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong English communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with attention to detail, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn
