Job Description
The Academy Charter Schools offers a rigorous English Language Arts (ELA) program in a technology-rich environment. The ENL Teacher is responsible for deep diving students into the language, planning instruction, and assessing student progress. They will create engaging lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment for active participation.
Requirements
- Teach a standards-based curriculum that incorporates the New York State English As A Second Language standards
- Prepare students for the NYSESLAT
- Bachelor’s degree in English from an accredited college or university, Master’s Degree preferred
- Valid New York State ESL Teacher Certification
