The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Kill Chain M&S Engineer to join their team in the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department. The successful candidate will work closely with program offices and customers to translate their needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks, and represent the department as a technical authority in their area of expertise. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, and 8+ years of experience in multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments. The position is full-time and 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, or Chantilly, VA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
- Technical understanding of space operations, red vs blue simulations, military utility and capability drawdown, kill chain effectiveness, enterprise architecture resiliency, and/or command and control (C2)
- Advanced experience with Python and C++
- Demonstrated high level of creativity, initiative, and self-motivation
- Ability to work on dynamic assignments and adapt to changing customer expectations
- Collaboration skills for integrating across organizational boundaries and with multiple customers to drive impactful, end-to-end solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication skills
