The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Communications Systems Engineer to join their Mission Payloads Division. The selected candidate will work on designing and evaluating communication systems, signals, and signal processing algorithms for various US Government military and national program needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or related applicable technical discipline.
- Six or more years of relevant engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
- Experience with RF satellite communication systems (hardware and software, systems engineering, RF system design requirements development, integration and test, system development, or related field).
- Understanding of several communication systems and digital signal processing concepts (e.g., modulation, coding, synchronization, estimation, detection theory, waveform design, channel effects, and link performance).
- Fluency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.
- The ability to obtain a current and active TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the US government (U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance)
