Job Description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to provide technical support to SMC, NRO, Civil and Commercial Space programs. The selected candidate will work full-time on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA. Responsibilities include reviewing contractor EMC analytical and test reports, acting as a customer's trusted technical authority, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related STEM discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Electromagnetic Theory, Physics, and lab component/circuit characterization techniques
- Fundamental knowledge of EMC, ESD, and TEMPEST design techniques
