The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Software Architecture and Systems Engineer to join the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department in El Segundo, CA. The successful candidate will work on developing maintainable, high-performance applications and modeling and simulation capabilities, and will collaborate with industry leading engineers and scientists to deliver timely software improvements and capabilities. The role requires a strong background in software engineering, collaborative software development, numerical methods, and/or physics-based modeling, as well as proficiency in C/C++ and experience with scripting languages such as MATLAB and Python. The position offers a competitive compensation package and a hybrid work model that combines 4 regular onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow.
