Job Description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space Vehicle Concept Design Engineer to join their Enterprise Effects Division. The role involves leading early-stage design studies for spacecraft concepts, serving as a subject matter expert in spacecraft-level systems engineering, and leading the development of capabilities utilizing AI in concept development. The position requires a strong knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and system engineering, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering teams with a focus on spacecraft or ground segment design
- Current or active TS/SSBI and ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Occasional domestic travel
