Job Description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Sr. Ground System Engineer to support the development and integration of a critical ground system for the Space Rapid Capabilities Office. The selected candidate will work on-site at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM, and will be responsible for coordinating with government and contractor teams, providing mission assurance, and developing and integrating ground architectures in a commercial cloud environment.
Requirements
- BS degree in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or related STEM field
- 12 or more years of progressively responsible experience in systems engineering or program management
- Space experience is required (satellite ground development and operations)
- Demonstrated ability to work within teams and in a highly dynamic Program Office environment
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with SAP eligibility
