Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

The Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator position at The Andersons, Inc. involves managing procurement, inventory, and purchasing processes for an Ethanol production facility, requiring 5+ years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Requirements

• Purchases complex/critical goods and materials
• Issues PO’s, manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns or quality problems with suppliers
• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure availability of products; proactively find solutions, resources for supply shortages and communicate effectively to teams
• Establish procedures and maintains inventory levels
• Collaborate with other plant procurement departments to optimize inventory levels to manage working capital
• Provide training and support to department personnel on company purchasing policies, procedures, and systems
