Job Description
The Direct Support Professional role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing daily assistance with tasks such as personal care, cooking, and cleaning. This is a full-time, in-person position with a $5000 sign-on bonus for new hires. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and experience in substance abuse and/or mental health.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health field preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Acceptable CORI/Finger printing and driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literacy skills
- Ability to physically assist individuals according to their needs and perform physical restraint if necessary
