Solutions Engineer, AP Intelligence

The Associated Press is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their AP Intelligence team, expanding the partner ecosystem and driving growth through partnership development, commercial solutioning, integration, and customer success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Business Development, or hybrid technical/commercial role in B2B enterprise data or SaaS
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms
• Proficiency in Python or similar language for building or integrating with data pipelines, RESTful APIs, JSON schemas
• Strong working knowledge of data pipelines, low-latency data concerns (streaming), data query and analysis technologies (ex. SQL), APIs, metadata management and cloud ecosystems
• Strong working knowledge and passion for AI technology and concepts including LLMs, RAG, GPTs, MCP/A2A
