Job Description
The Backroom Offshoring Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their team. The role involves performing basic bookkeeping tasks, preparing GST reports and returns, and supporting senior accountants with various accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in accounting, at least 2 years of experience in New Zealand and/or Australian accounting firms, and proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in accounting
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in New Zealand and/or Australian accounting firms
- Strong understanding of New Zealand and/or Australian accounting and taxation principles
- Proficiency in Xero
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist and collaborate with colleagues
- Effective time management and organizational skills
