Job Description
The Bishop's School seeks a versatile educator to join our faculty as a Computer Science and Robotics teacher. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse professional portfolio that bridges curricular instruction and extracurricular leadership, fostering a culture of curiosity and high-level problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in computer science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level
- Excellent computer science and robotics content knowledge
- Ability to teach math in addition to computer science (preferred)
- Interest in supporting current co-curricular programs
- An unequivocal passion for working with adolescents and supporting them in all facets of their lives
- Demonstrated commitment and competency in diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice
- Eagerness to collaborate with other department members
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with students, parents, faculty, staff, administrators, and the broader school community
- Strong work ethic, time management, verbal, written language, and interpersonal skills
