The Body Shop is seeking a Fragrance Development Chemist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and executing multiple fragrance development projects, ensuring fragrances support launch commitments with safety, quality, suitability, sustainability, timing and costs, while capturing the brand essence and requirements for a superior sensorial performance and brand differentiation.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of perfumery ingredients
• Awareness of consumer needs and global trends
• Ability to translate marketing briefs into clear fragrance evaluation criteria
• Project management skills to prioritise multiple projects efficiently
• Strong olfactive evaluation skills with ability to assess fragrance submissions and understand olfactive pyramids
