Lower School Teacher Assistants, 2026-27

Lower School Teacher Assistants are responsible for supporting the care of students and assisting in instructional and classroom activities under the guidance of the lead teacher or academic support team. They help foster academic excellence and student development by partnering with teachers and staff in fulfilling the school’s mission.

Requirements

• Support instructional delivery
• Assist in classroom management
• Provide academic support
• Monitor and document student behavior and engagement
• Prepare instructional materials and resources
• Support social and emotional development
• Supervise students
• Collaborate and communicate with the assigned teacher and team
• Participate in school and team meetings, professional development sessions, and trainings
• Contribute to the broader mission of Brook Hill
