CHIA is seeking a Health Policy Analyst to provide hands-on contributions in the development and implementation of data-driven pricing policy within the Provider Finance Pricing team. As a Health Policy Analyst, you will conduct analyses of health care costs, service utilization, and other data sources to shape payment rates made to health care providers by state agencies, including MassHealth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, public health, health care policy and management, business administration, finance, accounting, or a similar quantitative field.
- Three years of professional experience in business administration, finance, accounting, health care planning or administration, public health policy or administration, economics, or a similar field.
- Strong data management skills, including the ability to manipulate, organize, and analyze different datasets.
- Proficiency in analysis and management of financial, statistical, demographic, and clinical data primarily utilizing Excel, as well as statistical software programs such as R.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to engage and foster collaboration with stakeholders and articulate complex findings clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.
