Hospital Services Coordinator

The Children's Home is seeking a Full-Time Hospital Services Coordinator to assist in the coordination and organization of all day-to-day functions in the hospital, daily maintenance of all medical records, and efficient and accurate scheduling of in-patient and outpatient services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of medical secretary/admissions/registration program, or other related program, or 2-4 years of experience in a medical field
• General knowledge of computer software and electronic medical records
• General knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Works independently and efficiently, possessing a high attention to detail and maintaining the volume of scheduling clients
• Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, staff and other personnel
• Knowledge of third-party health care coverage, insurance regulations and authorizations preferred
• Ability to consistently maintain confidentiality with regards to all client information
