Job Description
The Athletic Trainer will work in a physician/provider office, providing treatment, counseling, and rehabilitation to patients. They will be a key member of the patient care team, assisting with treatment plans, documenting patient information, and communicating with both physician and patient. The role also includes professional development, proactive management, and documentation.
Requirements
- Assist with treatment plans and documentation in electronic medical record.
- Educate patients/families regarding durable medical equipment.
- Communicate daily with physician and document information.
- Participate in performance improvement programs and training.
- Complete mandatory education and meet state requirements.
- Demonstrate good time management skills and inventory management.
- Follow department documentation policies.
