The Medical Assistant II (Primary Care Float) will assist the physician in providing quality patient care, performing examinations and treatments, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Responsibilities include documenting patient information, administering medications, ensuring proper sterilization, and providing patient education. The role involves working within the EMR and adhering to all legal and clinical requirements.

Requirements

• Eligible candidates may qualify for a hiring bonus up to $2,500 with a 1-year work commitment.
• Maintains patient flow during clinic hours.
• Documents review of systems; measures vital signs.
• Updates past and current medical, social and family history.
• Prepares patient charts in EMR.
• Accesses and navigates websites or calls outside facilities.
• Maintains pharmacy cabinet and recording of patient samples.
• Completes patient assistance paperwork/requests.
