Job Description
Obtain and verify patient information for quality care and reimbursement. Analyze patient accounts, evaluate financial data, and complete required documentation. Process emergency cases, direct calls, and provide patient education.
Requirements
- Analytical skills to evaluate financial data and establish current accounts
- Working knowledge of insurance plans, regulations, and requirements
- Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance
- Ability to work with multiple insurance carriers and plan administrators
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain productivity standards and quality guidelines
- Ability to provide education and training/mentoring to other staff members
