Equipment Operator

Role Overview

We're searching for an Equipment Operator to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. The role is responsible for the safe operation of light and heavy construction equipment, including excavators, telescopic boom forklifts, and skid loaders.

What You Will Do

Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, drive and control equipment to complete tasks, collaborate with internal and external partners, and perform daily pre-inspections and maintenance checks.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years of equipment operating experience, and knowledge of OSHA regulations. Preferred qualifications include a CDL, HAZWOPER training, and OSHA 30-hour training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of equipment operating experience in a construction environment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding excavation methods and practices
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher
• OSHA 30-hour training, and First Aid/CPR certification
