IT Senior Developer

Citco is seeking an IT Senior Developer to develop and maintain our Web applications. As a core member of our Product Development team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Requirements

• Design, develop, enhance java-based web applications.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with the application support team to ensure timely resolution of critical production issues.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in the TLM Premium web application(developed by the external vendor SmartStream).
• Design, develop and maintain Oracle database object including procedures, functions, views, packages.
• Strong understanding or Oracle database architecture with the ability to provide performance and design insights.
• Analyze database SQL queries in real time and implement optimizations to improve the database performance.
• Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot performance issues on AWS EC2 instances hosting the applications.
• Stay up to date with technical enhancements, emerging tools and new functionality relevant to the role.
• Continuously learn, evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and product management teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.
• Coordinate with the DevOps team to push the application and infra changes to higher environments.
• Communicate effectively with peers, leads and cross-functional teams.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
