Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer is responsible for designing automation scripts, finding solutions for automation problems, and ensuring efficient and effective engineering practices. They must also monitor field instruments, calibrate equipment, and provide cross-functional support to teams.

• Designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems
• Monitoring field instruments and calibrating equipment

• Troubleshooting and programming variable frequency drives
• Coordinating with project teams to ensure new installations are functioning and designed as per standard
• Maintaining database and uploading PLC and HMI backup programs
• Helping quality and production teams find root causes of production contamination or losses
• Programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMI systems
• Maintaining network topology between Server, PLC & SCADA
• Designing systems for new or modifying existing automated machinery to automate manufacturing processes
• Planning and supervising maintenance jobs and managing spares inventories
• Establishing technical manuals, drawings, models, and training documentation for newly established automated equipment/processes
