The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta is seeking an Associate Director, Donor Relationships to manage and develop the Philanthropic Advisor - Nonprofit Generalist, and Philanthropic Associate, and deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The role involves cultivating gifts, supporting strategic engagement of donors, and developing donor portfolio strategies and cultivation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8+ years of direct fundraising/philanthropic experience or financial services fields with special emphasis on working with individuals of high net worth.
- Minimum 3+ years of people leadership and team management experience
- Professional designation(s) such as CFP, CFRE, CAP and/or 21/64 highly desirable
- Demonstrated success cultivating and closing major gifts and planned gifts
- Understanding of donor psychology and the motivations for giving with proven ability to adapt approach to different audiences
