Teaching Fellow (Early Applicant Pool SY 2026-2027)

The Community Group Teaching Fellows Program is a full-time position that involves teaching and learning with a team of outstanding educational practitioners. Fellows will gain classroom experience, participate in professional development, and contribute to the academic achievement of students. They will also have opportunities to receive additional stipends and be considered for permanent teaching placement within the charter school network.

Requirements

• Be involved in planning, delivering daily classroom lessons, and providing small group instruction based on students' assessed learning needs
• Gain classroom experience under the guidance of and in collaboration with highly experienced and qualified lead teachers and administrators
• Work in an exceptionally collaborative environment where teaming is paramount
• Contribute to the academic achievement of students in your classroom
• Participate in high-quality professional development alongside practitioners from the nationally acclaimed charter network
• Communicate with families through meetings, phone calls, and other family engagement activities
• Support, promote, lead, and participate in community service activities at their place of assignment and within the larger community

Benefits

• Base salary of $40,000 over 11 months (Aug-June)
• $1,500 educational award upon successful completion of service (Aug-June)
