2026 - 2027 School Social Worker

School Social Worker provides needs-based behavioral and social-emotional services to students, parents, and faculty/staff. The role includes individual and group counseling, direct and indirect consultation, assessment, and intervention implementation.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Social Work
• Illinois School Services Personnel Certificate with Social Work Endorsement (Type 73)
• Previous experience working with special education students with significant learning disabilities
• Experience and/or familiarity with CBT
• Experience writing social histories
• Experience with writing and/or contributing to the development and progress monitoring of behavior plans
• Experience with providing staff professional development
