School Social Worker provides needs-based behavioral and social-emotional services to students, parents, and faculty/staff. The role includes individual and group counseling, direct and indirect consultation, assessment, and intervention implementation.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- Illinois School Services Personnel Certificate with Social Work Endorsement (Type 73)
- Previous experience working with special education students with significant learning disabilities
- Experience and/or familiarity with CBT
- Experience writing social histories
- Experience with writing and/or contributing to the development and progress monitoring of behavior plans
- Experience with providing staff professional development
