Landscape Equipment Mechanic

The Commercail Landscape Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, monitoring, and repairing company equipment and tools, including hydraulic systems and diesel and small engines, ensuring scheduled equipment upkeep, managing inventory, collaborating with crew leaders on vehicle repairs, complying with regulations, and prioritizing safety through adherence to protocols to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to be a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
• Two years of experience in equipment maintenance, including mowers, small engine repair, or equivalent education.
• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire and complete Davey Career Development (CDP) books.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications.
• Ability to operate power equipment.
