Job Description
As a Trimmer Trainee/Experienced Climbing Arborist, you will learn to climb trees, operate as a member of a tree crew, and perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully. This role involves trimming and removing trees, removing unwanted, diseased or dying limbs, and properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Love of the outdoors
- Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights (preferred)
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates (preferred)
