Senior Producer

The Dispatch is seeking a Senior Producer to support day-to-day execution across its podcast and multimedia portfolio. This person will work across the core podcast suite—including Advisory Opinions, The Dispatch Podcast, and The Remnant—as well as video-supported projects, live programming, field production, and new format development.

Requirements

• Strong experience producing podcasts, video, radio, digital journalism, or comparable editorial audio/video programming
• Excellent editorial judgment and a strong ear for structure, pacing, clarity, and audience experience
• Experience reviewing edits and giving constructive feedback to producers, editors, or hosts
• Hands-on experience with audio and/or video production workflows
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple shows, deadlines, and stakeholders at once
• Experience coordinating freelancers, vendors, live recordings, field shoots, or special productions
• Ability to work diplomatically with hosts, editors, producers, freelancers, vendors, and senior leadership
• Comfort operating in a small, fast-moving team where senior staff are expected to be both strategic and hands-on
• Willingness to travel as needed for live events, field production, interviews, and special projects
