Summer 2026 Multimedia Internship

The Dispatch is offering a 10-week multimedia internship program for the summer of 2026, providing hands-on experience in podcast, video, and social media production.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a related undergraduate or master’s degree program
• Strong interest in journalism, podcasting, digital video, and the evolving media landscape
• Familiarity with American politics, news, and public affairs
• Some hands-on experience with audio, video, or social content production
• Basic proficiency with production tools such as ProTools, Adobe Audition or Premiere, Descript, Riverside, Canva or similar platforms
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Good editorial judgment, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced newsroom environment
